Hints and Tips on Propogation
•
Collect seeds on dry days. Damp seeds will not keep. If you must
collect them when they are damp, dry the seeds by laying them on
kitchen paper or newspaper.
If you collect seed pods from plants such as lupins, leave the pods
to dry out then remove the seeds for storing. Put ripe seed heads
into a paper bag and shake
Store seeds in labelled packets/old envelopes/ empty film canisters.
Put them all into an airtight tin and keep in a cool place. (LD)
